Also, this week in my art class, I had my little students do a kind of "double leaf rubbing" they covered one side of a leaf with oil pastels, then and then rolled a pencil over it to transfer it to watercolor paper- we finished with a watercolor resist- it was a LOT of work, but very cool and a good lesson on texture.
