Thanks Carolyn and Writerwoman. I love taking Flickr pictures and creating mosaics and I'm a terrible photographer, so Flickr is a Godsent ; only I must remember to ask in emails as well as giving the artists credits under the pics. That means it will take me even more time but I think I will continue to do so... albeit not as frequent while I await their written permission. One good thing in doing it this way it gives me amply time to write the piece I want to accompany the picture at times...that is if I still get the okay or else its back to recreating the entire mosaic.....cest la vie!
n.b. I must keep in mind when structuring these mosaics to keep them small…haha.

How I love butterflies, as did my Mom and I seem to see more of them since she died.
I could never understand butterfly collecting...

Twilight at Sea

The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
