My Little Bluebird Forget Me Not

"The morning wind forever blows,
the poem of creation is uninterrupted;
but few are the ears that hear it "~ Thoreau

Early morning contemplation.
I did this mosaic last night having spring to thank for the inspiration of this creation. Looking outside it has stopped snowing but there is something to be said about the tranquil qualities of snow falling gently on the ground, always gives me substance to think and create.
This morning I was back to reading the gothic novel, "The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield. Yesterday was music, today its literature- I love the combination.
Inspiration all around but too lazy at the moment to do anything about it, I’m just enjoying being drowned in the artistry of others.

This is beautiful..some of my favorite things and favorite shades of blue.
So interesting your last few posts...and what is inspiring you. I love music, but can't do much while listening to it. I can cook and of course visit with friends, but nothing that requires concentration like reading or sewing ect. I spend a lot of time staring out the window, especially now...at spring's beginning. I've only recently seen an old film of Marianne Faithful singing one of her songs. I'd forgotten how talented she is.

Drowning in the artistry of others...There are worse ways to go Annabelle.
I hope you are well. Being lazy may be forgiven in this nasty cold spell. Snuggle up by the fire, today Spring begins..it will improve soon.

Twilight at Sea

The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
