WILD IS THE WIND - DAVID BOWIE (1999)

I would like to make a toast to my dear friend Jan and myself for both of us turning fifty this year. Hope you like the song.

Luv Anna

Love me love me love me
Say you do
Let me fly away
With you
For my love is like
The wind
And wild is the wind

Give me more
Than one caress
Satisfy this
Hungriness
Let the wind
Blow through your heart
For wild is the wind

You...
Touch me...
I hear the sound
Of mandolins
You...
Kiss me...
With your kiss
My life begins
You’re spring to me
All things
To me

Don’t you know you’re
Life itself
Like a leaf clings
To a tree
Oh my darling,
Cling to me
For we’re creatures
Of the wind
And wild is the wind
So wild is the wind

Happy Happy half century~! HOw cool.
Annabelle, I think David waved to me. I saw him live at a small venue in Toronto, and I waved to him onstage from a side balcony...I was the only one standing there. He waved back.
Sigh...favorite Bowie is Rebel Rebel.

You’re much too young to love Bowie!
Only kidding!! Music is ageless even for Keith!
I was watching Little Drummer boy with Bing and Bowie today and I called Emma over to watch it. She recognized the song and said "that’s dad's Christmas favorite.
That video of them two singing together is such a treasure; just love it. I can listen to it any time of the year it’s that good!!! Emma returned to watch her TV and called me over and guess who was she watching; “Road to Bali”. She asked me who of the two Bing was. Funny hey how things unfold?

Twilight at Sea

The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
