***click on title to view video.I recently found a new artist whose work I very much adore.
Besides her whimsical and multi faceted style in collage and color,
Wyanne Thompson’s knack in achieving a marriage of two art forms into one oversize mural is phenomenal!
I would say that inspiration is boundless and old cemeteries are one such stimulating place.
For Wyanne Thompson, her inspiration rose from a song and a place, a very quite place.
A fairytale yarn sung by Kate Nash, subliminally floating into the Florida artist’s mind, was magically transformed unto paper with paint and graduated into the world of the living.
I happened upon her youtube video of Mariella; a delight and surprise when I started to listen to the words of the song.
It is the way she creates her art that I really luv; it’s the way that I do.
Our surroundings are connected to us; we only have to look in macro.
This is quite interesting and I really enjoyed watching it. We live on a sphere surrounded by life which all derives from diverse sources. The unlike is what art and life is all about…uniqueness!

Still loving your blog Annabelle - I could spend ages here! Thanks for your comments, you made me laugh about the self-portrait! Maybe if I added loads of wrinkles!
