A Witch's Tale.....Oh Baby Mine I Get So Lonely

A little tune for you dear.......

(Oh, baby mine) I get so lonely
When I (dream) dream about you
(Can’t) can't do without you
(That’s why) that's why I dream about you
If I could only put my (arms) arms around you
(Life) life would be so fair.

(If you were here) we two could
Hug and kiss and (never) never tire
(I’m) I'm on fire
(You are) you are my one desire
I get so lonely when I (dream) dream about you
(Why) why can't you be there?

(Oh, baby) Tossing and turning in my slumber
(Oh, baby) Holding you it seems
(Oh, baby) I'd give you kisses without number,
But only in my dreams.

(Oh, baby mine) I get so lonely
When I (dream) dream about you
(Can’t) can't do without you
(That’s why) that's why I dream about you
If I could only put my (arms) arms around you
(Life) life would be so fair.

(Oh, baby) Tossing and turning in my slumber
(Oh, baby) Holding you it seems
(Oh, baby) I'd give you kisses without number,
But only in my dreams.

(Oh, baby mine) I get so lonely
When I (dream) dream about you
(Can’t) can't do without you
(That’s why) that's why I dream about you
If I could only put my (arms) arms around you
(Life) life would be so fair.

(Oh, baby life) life would be so fair.
(Oh, baby life) life would be so fair.
(Oh, baby life) life would be so fair...

Hey Honey, Don’t forget, United Church Rummage Sale in Merrickville this evening; although I think I cashed in early this morning while driving Miss Emma to school by the Old Antique shop that is moving away when I noticed it threw out some old stuff and a frame similar to the one I have in my studio at home as an inspiration board; it was sticking out of the garbage can.
Anyway, I was running late bringing Em to school so I had no time to stop and hoped no one would get there before me.

Well, I got more than I had bargained for! When I arrived there to see if the frame would be useful, to my astonishment I saw a Venetian mirror like the one I have but larger and also rectangular in shape with a rose at the very top of the frame. The mirror, not sure the age or style, but I refer to it as Venetian for some reason, was propped behind the frame which escaped my first glance when I had driven by.
How lucky, I couldn't believe my eyes. The other Venetian mirror I have at home I got in a brown paper bag sale with other items for a dollar at the Kemptville Hospital Hay Day a few years back and this one came free, only catch, it needs some repairs at the top left-hand corner but I have mended the problem temporarily for now.Along with that, I also found two boxes thinking they were silverware containers but when I got home, once again I was surprised to read the back of the box "San Francisco Chocolate Box" $25. The box has a cut through the bottom which will be easy to fix but wait till Em comes home, she may be more surprised than me, for on closer inspection and after a good rubbing of olive oil a picture appeared…Magic!

In the last few days, Em had mentioned San Francisco and the bridge but can’t recall what she had said about it, though I know she wants to go study in California for film.
I think you now know what the picture is. San Francisco Bay with Berkeley and Oakland in the background, some ocean liner ships and of course the San Francisco Bridge.....Spooky!!!!!!!!!!

You know, funny things happen to me from time to time, for some reason especially more so at this particular time of the year…Spooks and Spirits in the air? Whatever it is, I thoroughly get absorbed in the unexpected finds, never in the world imagining it was more than just a frame in an old green garbage bin, which by the way is remarkable. There were even more green plastic garbage bags which I thought about checking out but receded from just in case there was something I wasn't looking for...I wonder what I missed? So my rummage sale today has begun with the witch digging in the garbage...Wow! Can it get better than this? I’ll just have to wait till tonight and see! Full moon????

Twilight at Sea

The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
