~ In the Pursuit of Happiness ~
In the pursuit of happiness you choose a road and hope it leads you there but sometimes the path chosen is the long way around – the scenic route and along the way you smell the roses, delight in the landscape and its inhabitants and learn to have a mind wide open. Every part of the journey is a discovery with appending knowledge; giving you the key to door of the secret garden that awaits your arrival.

~ Turn of the Screw ~
WE WERE SOLDIERS
Twilight at Sea
The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.

And you never know what or who you meet upon that road Annabelle...sometimes the longest way round results in the most magical experiences as it did for us. You wouldn't believe it but we came to this coastal town back in the 70's for our wedding anniversary...never dreaming we would be living here by the beach...Hugs to you Dzintra
