*** Michael Jackson - Oxford Speech ***
Once upon a time I was a child and so was Michael.
Like he, I really don’t have a childhood to speak of and I suppose I could easily relate and most importantly understand him for who he was even though I personally didn’t know him.
In this speech he gave in 2001 in Oxford Union, England, Michael explains it perfectly what it is to be a child, and how rushing through childhood to reach maturity is not as important as that of molding a beautiful being adept to the seriousness of an adult world.
(Be Gods Glow) has posted four videos of Michael’s speech and I have posted part one of four below. I seriously recommend you take the time to listen to the entire speech; I’m sure you’ll be touched by the message Michael gave and see who Michael truly was.

~ Turn of the Screw ~
WE WERE SOLDIERS
Twilight at Sea
The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
