" I Know Your Secret " Hallmark Card Contest

**** Click on the card to see it in it's original size ****

I'm back I think.......Trying something creative;if anything else it sure makes one feel good and positive.

I realize that I have over worn this painted moon I created some time ago but considering the deadline and wanting to try a Hallmark Card contest I really had no choice and opted to use it one more time. I tried to grasp the Birthday occasion to suit every genre and age; hopefully the judges think the same…worth a try anyway. Thank you “Playing with Brushes” for the frame and to others for the lock and key which all was free to use.
Many thanks.

Below is the original wording I wrote for the inside of the card and below that is what I submitted to the contest. I couldn't fit all of it in for the allotted word count and therefore had to shorten the saying.

I know your secret …

Your heart is the keeper, Of your dreams
And so I send along to you, Little stardust wishes, May all your Dreams come true!

And you thought I knew, Just how old are you?

Your heart is the keeper of your dreams,
With stardust wishes,
May all your Dreams come true!

And you thought I knew, Just how old are you?

Sorry you missed this competition Monica but if you go on their site ( just click my link on the post title) they have on going contests throughout the year. Hope you get a chance to try your hand at one very soon and yes I am trying very hard to feeling better thanks for the thought. Penny thank you as well for the warm thoughts.

Hi Jeanne, hope your eyes are doing better, my hubby needs two operations, one for cataracts and the other for a growth, forgot the name and we find out tomorrow what is the matter with his heart, as for myself I go in Thursday to see the surgeon for my two knees and book the operation date... how lovely is old age?...hehehe Oh well, we are still here, that's a good thing!

And Penny, I do understand what you are saying. My dreams are many but very few to remember. I guess leaving a notebook and pen by our bedside table would help and the minute you wake try remembering the details and jotting them down. Try having a cup of Camomille tea before bed, seems to help me.

Thank you very much for your steady encouragement Dzintra, means so much to me.
The little relief I get these days I muse myself in music and art although the latter has been very sporadic of late; but they are a great source of liberation. Hope you understand my absence from blogging.

Thinking of you too...
Annabelle xx

Twilight at Sea

The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
