Having Fun with Art

These Little Fellas were having quite a time in the snow storm the other day and I was having fun as well .........................

...in creating this whimsical little birdie...........her name is Daisy.

Made from Art Glass ..embossed glass with a daisy pattern iridescent in colour.
I decoupaged one side with lace.The legs were done on a whim...I know the knees are backwards on birdies. I was trying to make her some booties....I think they turned out okay.
Daisy has a crystal for an eye and I gave her a tiny heart to hold on to with  her beak.

Twilight at Sea

The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
