I Have A Dream

I Have A Dream

As I dimmed the light in my bedroom, all was dark and still… and the light of my consciousness faded and I entered the realm of my dreams…….

The morning sky that broke the darkness of the night was dull and grey. For a moment I paused and thought …Had I dreamed?

I had blissfully slept in a warm bed and had the hardest time waking up. I had wanted to remain under the covers and sleep the melancholy morning away! But I couldn’t do that, I had to get the kids up and off to school.

I lethargically put the coffee up to brew and prepared the lunches. The aroma of the coffee smelled good and my senses were awakened.

No I had not dreamed…. Or should I say, I didn’t remember the dream. Whichever it was, I was disappointed.

I said my goodbyes to the children and started the wash for the day. As I went about the house shutting down the lights that were left on, I unconsciously was humming a song. It never dawned on me what I was humming to myself, when suddenly it came to me;
“I Have A Dream”.

Had God sent me a message? I remember studying in school how the Egyptians and Greeks had believed that the Dream was God’s voice for guidance. Was this song part of the Dream that I had forgotten?

A light had emerged from the darkness of the night. Why was I singing a song out of the blue about my dreams? Was it just my conscious playing games with me or was it really a message from God himself? I choose to believe it was the divine creator himself that guided me too this song. I couldn’t recall the words and so I searched for the song.

In “Transitions and Transformations”, I talked about dreams helping us to deal with change. As the song starts off, it speaks of; “I have a dream, a song to sing
To help me cope with anything”.

The divinity of the dream was God’s message to listen to my dreams. Take heed to their meaning and importance and they will guide you.

“I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see”.
“If you see the wonder of a fairytale
You can take the future even if you fail
I believe in angels”
And so,
“I have a dream, a fantasy to help me through reality”

I like to believe that the dream was God's voice for guidance.I believe the angels are with us always.At times when life challenges me I have a dream
and see the image of an angel over me and I then wake in fear.After a few minutes I calm down realizing it was my gurdian angel watching over me.
In your bio.above I liked that you said "covered in a blanket of moist fragrant moss!" I adore moss I beieve it is a gift left by fairies!

Thanks for the lovely comments girls and yes the fairies I believe do leave moss where they have been. Just visit Marion’s site to see where they dwell.

Hi Annabelle - I believe that the voice could have been either an angel whispering to you or your very own soul.
it is like you are being awakened to this side of you. Keep watching for signs - feathers, triple numbers and other 'thoughts' that come into your mind. oh, and keep a journal of this amazing journey!
blessings & bliss, Robyn xo

Twilight at Sea

The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
