Lost Love

Lost Love, originally uploaded by Annabelle13.

And can it be that in a world
So full and busy,
The loss of one creature
Makes a void in any heart,
So wide and deep that nothing
But the width and depth of eternity
Can fill it up!

Oh I do love to write and marry up visuals with words. I have many ideas but at the moment with these tests and knowing I'm going in for surgery my mind is not so clear and I struggle to keep it blank from the negative and try to concentrate on the positive. A mind all muddled is hard to unwind to capture an essence of what I’m trying to write about. I know I usually write about sad things but that’s just me no matter if I’m well or not. I truly appreciate the lovely comments and some are over the top for me but all the same they do make one feel good....A Big Thank You to all of you. It’s nice to have readers.

Twilight at Sea

The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
