Twilight at Sea
The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.

So beautiful, annabelle... now I'm singing "There'll be bluebirds over the white cliffs of dover..."
those objects and the little bird are such sweet tokens of affection. Thanks for sharing them.
Hello!

Your words, as always are beautiful Annabelle, and the collage is perfect in colour and content.

Hi Annabelle thanks for stopping by, I always loved Farquhson's sheep pictures at one time they were very popular on Christmas cards. Remember saving one for ages intending to frame it but never got around to it. V. fond of Robert Frost as well, one of my Mother's favourite poets. And the Somme, awful which regiment didn't suffer terrible losses, dreadful war. Everything is kind of okay here will get around to posting again soon.
