Live life like you're gonna die. Because you're gonna. — William Shatner

Live life like you're gonna die. Because you're gonna. — William Shatner,

I dedicate this poem to the Royal Newfoundland Regiment who on 1 July, 1916 during the Battle of the Somme suffered very high casualties...

Your angel sits on a Forget ~Me~ Not ~Moon
Bluebird of Happiness never forgets you too soon
Be it the first of July every year
I'll send you flower tokens of love to you my darling, my dear

Hi Annabelle thanks for stopping by, I always loved Farquhson's sheep pictures at one time they were very popular on Christmas cards. Remember saving one for ages intending to frame it but never got around to it. V. fond of Robert Frost as well, one of my Mother's favourite poets. And the Somme, awful which regiment didn't suffer terrible losses, dreadful war. Everything is kind of okay here will get around to posting again soon.

Twilight at Sea

The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
