***BabyIslandsSitter Wanted***

Only in a Dream.....

As close as I will get....

And Grace already knows it.....

Have you heard the news lately, and I don’t mean the inauguration of the US President-elect Barack Obama…I am referring to the Purfect Job………

***BabyIslandsSitter Wanted***

Intoxcicating Islands ... Blue Lagoons....A Seaside cottage....and a cheque for $180,000 Cdn for babysitting the Tropical Mysterious Islands, that is, to one who has never been there, but with time will come to be it's friend and ally and most of all its prime advocate in congregating the baby-boomers of the world to flock over and share in the adventure of a life time! "A Gift from the Sea" .....really a gift from "Tourism Queensland in Australia".

A chance to live and love the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef…to live in an abode on the Island of Hamilton and gaze out into the world as it begins to change.
For a dramatic contrast, appreciation and truly unique exhilarating exotic quest, ideally a northern guy or gal would be the choice pick I would imagine but to every man there is an Island.

If interested.....read the article below and visit the home page to apply online for the real deal

Best job in the world?

One catch: killer jellyfish

By ACE BURPEE {Winnipeg Sun}

In a brilliant piece of marketing, Tourism Queensland in Australia is offering "The Best Job in the World." Your duties, according to the job posting for Island Caretaker Great Barrier Reef, include living in a swank three bedroom house on luxurious Hamilton Island, spending your days diving, sailing, and bushwacking ... then blog about it once in a while.

That's all you do. You get paid to be a tourist. Start making your video. It's worth a shot.

A five-pack on "The Best Job in the World":

5. Potential drawback: The Irukandji jellyfish. It is only 2.5 cm long and the sting won't hurt very much. It will, however, probably kill you. I think the last person to die by Irukandji jellyfish was in 2002, so maybe they've mellowed a bit.

4. Potential upside: Updating your Facebook status will be the cause of great excitement to your friends, as you'll actually have interesting stuff to clog newsfeeds instead of "so and so is baking muffins" or "so and so is excited for UFC 213".

"So and so caught a shark and is watching whales from so and so's deck while raking in around five times the average Canadian" is way more interesting. Actually, there may be some backlash there.

3. Certain upside: You will earn approximately $180,000 Canadian for six months of "work". Assuming you'll be subject to the same income tax laws as all Australians, you'll still pocket more than a hundred large after the government (who you work for) takes their share. Calculated against the rest of the world on globalrichlist.com, you'd be in the top 1% in earnings worldwide. For snorkelling.

2. Why you have a chance: The successful applicant will report on their experiences to the rest of the world, in hopes of luring tourists from anywhere and everywhere to the islands. Canadians tend to be fairly highly regarded internationally, or at the very least not disliked. This will no doubt appeal to the selection committee. You are Canadian. You have a chance.

1. Why "Best Job in the World" might be pushing it: The average salary in the NHL is around $2 million. They may have to work harder than you, but they also get to play hockey. I would argue hockey is more fun than sailing. Paris Hilton gets $300,000 to show up at a club for 15 minutes. You will not be able to command that kind of cash upon your return. Vanna White gets five grand every episode of Wheel of Fortune.

While I think I would have a decent chance at the gig, I like my job, so won't be applying. There's no reason a Winnipegger can't win this, though. I'll make sure you get paid to show up at a club when you return.

And I will contently stay in the great white north under layers of flannel keeping warm from the frigid -30 temperatures , still dreaming of an island getaway someday soon.

*** Across the Universe ***

"Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup,
they slither while they pass, they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my open mind,
Possessing and caressing me.
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world,
Nothing's gonna change my world,
Nothing's gonna change my world,
Nothing's gonna change my world.

Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on across the universe,
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box they
Tumble blindly as they make their way
Across the universe
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world,
Nothing's gonna change my world,
Nothing's gonna change my world,
Nothing's gonna change my world.

Sounds of laughter shades of light are ringing
Through my open views inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a
Million suns, it calls me on and on
Across the universe
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world,
Nothing's gonna change my world,
Nothing's gonna change my world,
Nothing's gonna change my world.

Hi Annabelle,

You have a lovely place here. I like the snow effect. Interesting job advertised there. It looks beautiful but I would want to swim every day and killer jellyfish is enough to sway me, that and I'm not Canadian so I've got 2 strikes against me already. (heehee ;)

Thank you for joining me on The Artful Paper Doll.

Cheers! =D

"For in an instance I did think I’d seen a zillion stars ablaze" When I had discovered the magical grove of fossilized crystals I thought I had seen stars. Needed a break from woodburning and painting so I tried this lovely little toy{ Polyvore Digital Workshop } and created this collage. Another collage I created inspired by the poem "Twilight at Sea" I used dragonflies instead of birds...I luv them both but I adore how their gossamer wings catch the light. ~Annabelle

Twilight at Sea

The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
