*** True Love ***

For you and I have a guardian angel
On high, with nothing to do
But to give to you and to give to me
Love forever true

A little inspiration from the song “True Love” by Cole Porter and sung by Bing Crosby and Grace Kelly. I first heard the song in the movie “High Society” starring Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong.
Grace Kelly received her first and only gold record with this song and Bing Crosby his 21st.

Love and passion of roses, love for cherubs and twinkling stars, love of the secret garden of my dreams…love of all God’s creations we find pleasure in...Enjoy the song

Suntanned, windblown
Honeymooners at last alone
Feeling far above par
Oh, how lucky we are

While I give to you and you give to me
True love, true love
So on and on it will always be
True love, true love

For you and I have a guardian angel
On high, with nothing to do
But to give to you and to give to me
Love forever true

For you and I have a guardian angel
On high, with nothin' to do
But to give to you and to give to me
Love forever true
Love forever true

For you and I have a guardian angel
On high, with nothing to do
But to give to you and to give to me
Love forever true

Annabelle, Thank you for your words on my blog. Its such a great feeling to get feedback from friends! (:

I love this "True Love" design and the poem! Wonderful! All your digital designs are beautiful. You asked me what I like as a banner... I just love everything you've done. I especially love earthy colors (deep and rich) and/or the deep blues and purples (like you have on your banner with the moon). I guess I'm thinking that since I live by, and love the sea, I'd like the theme to be that, along with its mystical and magical creatures (especially, but not limited to mermaids and seahorses).

Does this help for your question? If not, let me know and we'll figure it out. What I do know, is that you're images are wonderful and I'm captivated by them... and I know you'll create something I'll love!!!

Twilight at Sea

The Twilight Hours like birds flew by,
As lightly and as free;
Ten thousand stars were in the sky,
Ten Thousand on the sea;
For every wave with dimpled face,
That leaped upon the air,
Had caught a star in its embrace,
And held it trembling there.
